Max Series Height Adjustable Desk Operation Guide


1. Rise and Descend
This section explains how to manually adjust the desk height.

  1. To raise the desk: Rotate the metal controller clockwise. The desk will rise.
  2. To lower the desk: Rotate the metal controller counterclockwise. The desk will descend.


2. Memory and Reminder
This section covers how to save your favorite heights and set a reminder to switch positions.

Setting Memory Presets
  1. Adjust the desk to your desired height. The current height will be displayed on the screen.
  2. Press the 'M' button to enter the memory interface.
  3. Press 1, 2, or 3 to save the current height to that preset.
Setting the Sitting Reminder
  1. Press and hold the 'M' button for 5 seconds to enter the multifunctional interface.
  2. Press the 'M' button again to navigate to the sitting reminder setting. The screen will show a bell icon with < > arrows.
  3. Use the 1 and 3 buttons to cycle through the time options (e.g., OFF, 30 min, 40 min, 50 min).
  4. Press the 'M' button to confirm your selection.
  5. After the selected time has passed, the desk will vibrate for 10 seconds to remind you to change your posture.


3. Lock Function
This section details how to lock and unlock the desk to prevent accidental adjustments.
  1. Press and hold the 'M' button for 5 seconds to enter the multifunctional interface.
  2. Press the 3 button to navigate to the lock interface. The screen will show a padlock icon.
  3. Press the 'M' button to confirm and activate the lock.
  4. After 10 seconds of no operation, the interface will automatically lock, and the lock icon will light up.
  5. To unlock the desk, press and hold the 1 and 3 buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the lock icon disappears.


4. Setting Maximum and Minimum Height Limits
This section explains how to set the upper and lower height boundaries for the desk.

  1. Press and hold the 'M' button for 5 seconds to enter the multifunctional interface.
  2. Press the 3 button twice to navigate to the limit interface. The screen will show up and down arrows with a line between them.
  3. Press the 1 button to set the minimum height or the 3 button to set the maximum height. The screen will display <MIN> or <MAX>.
  4. Press the 'M' button to confirm your selection. The desk will then operate within the set limits and stop automatically once a limit is reached.


5. Function Simulation
This section shows a simulation of the desk's functions.
  1. The desk will stop automatically when it reaches the maximum or minimum height limit that you have set.


6. Vibration Mode
This section explains how to activate the vibration mode.
  1. Press and hold the 'M' button for 5 seconds to access the multifunctional interface.
  2. Press the '3' button multiple times until you reach the vibration mode interface. The screen will display an icon with a bell and arrows.
  3. Press the 'M' button to confirm and activate this mode.
  4. After the set time has passed, the desk will vibrate to remind you to change your posture.


7. Quick Return
This feature allows you to quickly exit the settings menu and return to the main interface.

  1. To exit the settings and go back to the main interface quickly, press the 'M' button.
  2. If you do not press the 'M' button, the desk will automatically return to the main interface after 5 seconds of inactivity.


8. Error and Reset
This section provides instructions for handling an error and resetting the desk.

  1. If the display shows an error (e.g., "Err 03"), the system requires a reset. 2. To begin the reset, turn the metal controller counterclockwise for 5 seconds.
  2. The screen will display a 'RESET' message.
  3. Continue turning the controller counterclockwise to complete the reset and lower the desk to its minimum height.
  4. After the reset is complete, the desk will be fully functional again.

ERROR 12

If you are experiencing ‘Error 12’, you will need to reset the control box, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Hold the remote anti-clockwise for a few seconds to reset all the functions
Step 2: Once the controller changes to ‘RESET’, Release
Step 3: Do step 1 again; the desk will slowly go down and display a digital number.


NOTE: Please be advised, that the height-adjustable desk controller box has an anti-collision sensor which means it has a sensitivity adjustment on the handset. The controller box that connects the wires has to be properly attached to the holder under the desk and not on the floor. Once this is fixed, the remote can restore the functions properly.


Reset Process for Old Rectangular Control Model
  1. Move the desk to your desired height.
  2. Press and hold the Up + 1 button for 3 seconds. The screen will display P1, indicating that the first height setting is saved.
  3. Move the desk to another desired height.
  4. Press and hold the Up + 2 button for 3 seconds. The screen will display P2, indicating that the second height setting is saved.


Remove Minimum Or Maximum Height Lock for Old Rectangular Control Model
  1. Press and hold «↑» + «↓» until the frame reached the lowest position and you hear a beep;
  2. Do not release the buttons and hold «↑» + «↓» for 15 seconds until you hear another beep.
  3. Initialization is complete when display shows - - -
